Olive oil bottling day two, ding, ding ding!

Make room on your shelves, l'arte dell'olivo will soon be hitting shelves in the U.S.!!!

Just as soon as we get it all bottled, packaged and finished...

We arrived at the olive oil mill at 9:00 a.m. expecting everyone to be just getting started with the bottling line again.  Imagine our surprise when we walked into the bottling room with FILLED bottles waiting to be labeled and boxed!  Wow!!!!!

  

Wait a minute, that meant that there were a LOT of bottles to process!  Time to stop standing around and start working.

We put our little assembly line into high gear and got the whip cracking.  Thank goodness for our helpers and even our farmer Raul who came and helped us pack the pallets with all the finished boxes of olive oil.  We so appreciate each and everyone for being able to take some time out and help!!!

It was a relief to have it all finally done, on the pallet and ready for the shipping company to pick it up.  Being that it was the heart and heat of summer we had paid extra to have the shipment refrigerated the entire way back to ensure that nothing would happen to our precious wonderful olive oil!

And...introducing the new packaging available in 500 ml bottles and 3 liter tins...
